Sensors / Water Leak Detection Sensors & Controllers
Detecting water leaks in data centers, warehouses, laboratories and building mechanical rooms requires both compatible sensing cable and a matched alarm/control interface. Localized and non-localized leak detection are distinct system types. AirAlign profiles original manufacturer technical devices and configuration choices; a sensor cable alone does not act as a powered warning controller.
Engineering considerations
- Choose locating versus non-locating detection; do not mix devices without manufacturer confirmation.
- Review controller cable-length limits, relay/alarm interface, site RS485 and the individual cable resistance/length parameters.
- Inspect cable routing, field termination, electromagnetic interference protection, water compatibility and local electrical safety.
- Order-code CE/EMC markings do not automatically establish ATEX/IECEx hazardous-area certification.
