AirAlign provides independent information about air quality, equipment, product technology, and manufacturers. This Privacy Policy explains the types of personal data associated with using airalign.me, why information is processed, and how to contact us about privacy rights.
Website operator and privacy contact
AirAlign is the public-facing name of this website. The person or legal entity operating AirAlign is responsible for the processing activities under its control. Privacy requests and correspondence can be directed to [email protected]. The operator’s formal legal identity and service address must be supplied in the specific KVKK notice to satisfy applicable identity requirements.
Information involved when you visit
- Server access and security information: access time, requested page, IP address, user agent, browser and device information, and security signals may be recorded by hosting and security systems to operate the site and prevent abuse.
- Contact information: when you email us or submit a form, your address, name if supplied, message, and related correspondence are processed to respond to the request.
- Analytics information: Google Site Kit is installed with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager enabled. Where tracking is active in accordance with applicable rules and preferences, information about page visits, interactions and technical identifiers may be processed.
- Cookie and consent choices: CookieAdmin is installed to manage consent preferences and optional scripts; a cookie or similar identifier may remember the choices you make.
- WordPress accounts or comments: if these functions are available and used, relevant account, login, and comment information may be processed to provide the function and address abuse.
Purposes and lawful bases
We use necessary technical information for website operation, security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and the administration of our services. Contact details are used to reply to questions, correction requests, and rights requests. Where required by law, optional analytics and advertising tracking should be subject to a separate consent choice rather than treated as essential operation. Specific processing grounds depend on the activity and applicable jurisdiction, including Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
Who may receive information?
The site is hosted with Veridyen and uses Cloudflare for DNS, content delivery and security. Google Site Kit integrates analytics/tag-management products, and CookieAdmin provides cookie-management functionality. Depending on the relevant processing operation, these providers and any associated subprocessors may receive technical or usage data. Third-party providers have their own policies and processing locations.
International processing and transfers
Cloudflare and Google provide internationally operated services. When data is transferred outside Türkiye or another relevant jurisdiction, the operator must evaluate the applicable rules, including KVKK Article 9 where relevant. This policy is not a statement that every international transfer arrangement has already been legally verified.
Cookies and tracking preferences
Please consult the Cookie Policy for details about categories, preferences and available controls. Your browser settings can also remove cookies, although that may reset saved choices. We are reviewing the current consent implementation, including blocking of optional technologies before valid consent where required.
How long is information kept?
Data should be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, required by law or needed to address legitimate legal claims. Actual periods differ for hosting logs, security events, correspondence, consent records, and third-party analytics tools and should be confirmed against the configured services. We do not publish an unverified fixed retention period.
Your rights
Individuals may have rights to request information about processing, access or a copy of information, correction, erasure, objection or other rights depending on applicable law. Under KVKK Article 11, specific data-subject rights apply. To request an explanation, correction or deletion or to raise a privacy concern, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify the requester’s identity where appropriate before disclosing personal information.
Children and future commercial features
AirAlign is an information site and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If online shopping, advertising, sponsorship forms, or newsletter services are introduced, the policy and accompanying notices will be updated for the actual activities before or as they launch.
