Model Identification & Specifications

ManufacturerLEFOO
ModelLF52A
Device and technologyCompact water differential pressure switch
Process mediumNoncorrosive water, air or oil per OEM
Range and structural limits16 bar maximum static; 10 bar maximum differential
Electrical interfaceSingle SPDT, 250 VAC 3 A / 125 VAC 5 A
Approval levelModel/suffix evidence to verify

Safety and scope: Family-wide limits can vary with diaphragm, port, switchpoint band and termination. Neither pressure proof nor burst pressure is a normal adjustment threshold, and manufacturer conformity documents must be matched to the ordered configuration.

Original Manufacturer Technical Information

LF52A is compact SINGLE SPDT switch for chilled-water filter or flow proving, not a two-contact LF52 variant. OEM media water/air/oil noncorrosive, 16bar static versus 10bar differential maximum, 250VAC 3A/125VAC 5A, −20…71°C ambient and −20…93°C process, IP54; differential pressure is an inference about flow only when pump/valve/filter hydraulics are known. Verify tubing/capillary compatibility before replacing a paddle flow device.

Before purchase verify OEM model and option matrix, media compatibility, wetted material, mounting, electrical contacts, switchpoint/repeatability, installation temperature and complete suffix. Confirm the exact model variant, technical requirements and current manufacturer documentation before selection. Supplier marks cannot automatically be transferred to all configurations.

Engineering Selection & Practical Interpretation

LF52A is not a two-output LF52. It provides one differential threshold, and a pump’s hydraulic circuit changes the relationship between pressure differential and actual flow. Confirm fitting orientation and dry-run system interlocks.

Before using the switch as a protective device, verify how it responds at trip, reset and loss of supply, and whether a separate calibrated monitor is required. The contact wiring, allowable media and operating temperature must correspond to the original controller design. Select a documented variant instead of assuming that similarly named housings are interchangeable.

Installation and Integration

Function & calibration

Differentiate threshold switching from continuous measurement. Confirm adjustment range, hysteresis, measurement reference and sample setup for the operating medium.

Electrical interface

NO/NC/SPDT contact type and current are configuration-specific. Low-current reed or signal contacts require suitable control electronics rather than direct motor wiring.

Mechanical environment

Check approved media, temperature, fitting, mounting orientation, protection against surges and ingress performance at the supplied cable termination.

Approvals and replacement

Conformity needs the exact serial/part option and certificate scope. A product-family marketing statement is not evidence that another configuration is explosion-protected.

LF52A — compact DP fit and media restrictions

LF52A is a compact water differential-pressure control variant; the maker also cites certain noncorrosive air/oil uses. Confirm the selected pressure port, diaphragm material and static line pressure before using it outside water service. Compare its switch differential/hysteresis and electrical terminals with the larger LF52, especially in space-restricted pump assemblies. The contact’s rated load and actual setpoint direction should be bench-tested at commissioning.
