LF52 measures true high-minus-low PORT differential in water filter, pump, exchanger or chiller circuit, rather than absolute line pressure. OEM offers one or TWO SPDT contacts/setpoints, 16bar maximum static pressure and 10bar maximum differential. These are DIFFERENT limits; the 16bar static rating does not permit a 16bar differential. Max 250VAC 3A/125VAC 5A, IP54, ±1% setpoint repeatability; customer must specify connections and one versus two independent trip thresholds.

Before purchase verify OEM model and option matrix, media compatibility, wetted material, mounting, electrical contacts, switchpoint/repeatability, installation temperature and complete suffix. Confirm the exact model variant, technical requirements and current manufacturer documentation before selection. Supplier marks cannot automatically be transferred to all configurations.

Engineering Selection & Practical Interpretation

High-minus-low water pressure can indicate fouled filters or a flow restriction but is not a direct flow measurement. LF52 offers one or TWO independent switch thresholds depending on model; a second setpoint cannot be synthesized by software from a single-contact unit.

Before using the switch as a protective device, verify how it responds at trip, reset and loss of supply, and whether a separate calibrated monitor is required. The contact wiring, allowable media and operating temperature must correspond to the original controller design. Select a documented variant instead of assuming that similarly named housings are interchangeable.

Differentiate threshold switching from continuous measurement. Confirm adjustment range, hysteresis, measurement reference and sample setup for the operating medium.

Electrical interface

NO/NC/SPDT contact type and current are configuration-specific. Low-current reed or signal contacts require suitable control electronics rather than direct motor wiring.

Check approved media, temperature, fitting, mounting orientation, protection against surges and ingress performance at the supplied cable termination.
