Engineering and Selection Considerations

Compare installation environment, signal compatibility, calibrated range, accuracy and maintenance before purchase. Product-family codes alone are not sufficient to establish individual specifications.

TT-4XX — local display and probe selection

EMS lists TT-4XX as the displayed temperature-transmitter counterpart to TT-3XX. A visible reading is useful during commissioning, but the digital/analog BMS output, actual temperature span and probe sensor type still depend on the order code. Specify the display position for maintenance access without placing electronics in an excessive ambient temperature. Where a remote temperature probe is used, validate its cable length, thermal contact and response time. Do not assume the display changes intrinsic sensor accuracy or provides independent limit protection.
