Verified ATM/Ex documentation: STS identifies ATM/Ex as an ATEX/IECEx pressure transmitter. Manufacturer documentation lists intrinsic-safety parameters and requires the appropriate certified circuit. Intrinsically safe Ex ia is not flameproof Ex db. Cross-check the certificate version and electrical parameters for the ordered model.

Direct IECEx SEV 10.0003X certificate assessment (22 October 2026)
STS’s official IECEx SEV 10.0003X issue 3, 24 Jan 2018, page 5 explicitly includes ATM.xxx/Ex with corresponding approval and current nameplate as an intrinsically safe Ex ia device. The approved circuit limit is Ui ≤28 V, Ii ≤93 mA, Pi ≤0.65 W; transmitter Ci = 12 nF plus cable 0.12 nF/m, Li = 1.25 mH plus cable 0.001 mH/m. A separately assessed arrangement uses the FAB-3.2 barrier and specified cables. Verify the actual annex, ambient/T-class, required entity calculations, cable, nameplate and revision before selecting a device. Do not infer blanket approval for standard ATM or ATM/N.
