XGZP6103A — industrial pressure loop
The XGZP6103A family has ceramic diaphragm variants and ranges reportedly extending toward 40 MPa, with 4–20 mA available in specific configurations. Those high-pressure figures describe a product portfolio, not a universal operating rating for one transmitter. Verify ordered pressure span, proof/burst margin, wetted materials and process port before using it with a liquid or hydraulic line. Check available loop supply and load resistance so the controller can distinguish low signal, out-of-range and wiring fault.
XGZP6103A — Ceramic-Diaphragm Industrial Pressure Loop — engineering specifications
Original CFSensor model documentation differentiates the family’s hardware choices. Ranges and options below are manufacturer declarations, not guaranteed simultaneous performance of every part number.
| Design item | Manufacturer model evidence | Engineering implications |
|---|---|---|
| Measurement physics | Ceramic-diaphragm industrial pressure transmitter in stainless steel assembly | Different technology and media interface from dry-gas PCB XGZP6899D. |
| Range portfolio | Maker listing shows selected 0–1, 1.6, 2.5 … to 40 MPa configurations | An individual 1 MPa sensor does not have 40 MPa measurement range. |
| Output coding | 4–20 mA ordered variants highlighted; OEM advertises additional analog or I²C choices within product family | Check actual electrical connector and part suffix, not an assumed universal signal. |
| Media | Ceramic membrane and rugged pressure connection intended for industrial process | Check seals, wetted metal grades and medium compatibility; ‘corrosion-resistant’ is not universal. |
| Overload/water hammer | Maker advertises anti-overload and anti-water-hammer design for suitable configurations | Require numerical proof/overload limit for actual selected model. |
| Power / loop compliance | Supply voltage and max load not fixed in general catalog table | Electrical design requires variant manual to validate PLC isolation and cable burden. |
| Environmental approvals | No blanket ATEX/IECEx declaration for this product from catalog entry | IP enclosure rating or stainless body does not imply hazardous-area certification. |
Installation and OEM qualification
An industrial pressure transmitter should be selected by absolute/sealed-gauge reference, wetted media, calibrated pressure span and process thread. Convert 4–20 mA to engineering units using that exact span and handle under-range/wire-break as a fault. Do not connect an analog current-loop variant to I²C solely because the product family page advertises both options. Ceramic process diaphragm is not an automatic approval for aggressive acids, hygienic food contact or explosion-protected installation. Verify exact package and power/accuracy document before use.
