STS ATM/NC — corrosion-resistant immersion caveat
Manufacturer model evidence: ATM/NC is labelled a chemical-resistant submersible level transmitter. However, part of the maker’s public specifications show generic ATM 100 mbar–1,000 bar pressure-port values; these should not be copied uncritically into all immersion configurations. Select by the exact chemical-contact materials, cable sheath, venting reference, pressure measuring range and approved installation depth.
Engineering and certification notes: This known online source inconsistency is flagged rather than silently resolving it. For wetted materials and chemical media, obtain the order-specific ATM/NC PDF, cable drawing and relevant approvals. No general ATEX/IECEx claim follows from the name.
