LFUD101 — integrated sensor and measurement blind zone
LFUD101 incorporates the ultrasonic transducer and display/electronics as one assembly, unlike remote-head LFUD102. Choose the actual 3–30 m maker-specified span and ensure the maximum tank fill height remains outside the selected probe’s 0.25–0.8 m blind zone. Foam, vessel obstructions and agitated surfaces can cause unwanted echoes. Verify power, relay/output variant and mounting/beam clearance at commissioning; a nominal ultrasonic accuracy under ideal conditions is not a guarantee of a stable sludge surface.
