LMP 308i — detachable cable service

LMP 308i is a submersible hydrostatic probe with a detachable sensor/cable connection and cited 35 mm body. Field maintenance may be easier, but the detachable interface must retain its water-ingress protection when serviced. Select the appropriate 4–200 mH₂O range against actual water column and fluid density; a listed 0.1% FSO accuracy means full-scale, not percent of reading. Confirm borehole clearance, suspension and ordered electrical signal before installation.

Application engineering and commissioning

The i-family emphasizes measurement precision, but installed level accuracy also depends on the water-column reference density, signal wiring and vented atmospheric compensation. At 200 mH₂O range a narrow tank-level threshold may still need a smaller-range cell to achieve absolute resolution. Use the proper protective suspension and pressure-equalization cable layout; maintain the detachable joint without ingress. Do not assume the LMP 308i’s exact precision grade also applies to the ceramic LMK 808 or the screw-in LMP 331.
