NT-1XX — probe-type humidity sensing
EMS identifies NT-1XX as a probe-type humidity transmitter, not the wall-mounted NT-3XX or the duct NT-2XX. The probe should sample representative process air without direct condensation or radiant heating; select the actual probe length and electrical termination from the manufacturer’s order list. Establish humidity-output scaling, power and probe exposure limits with the host controls. A relative-humidity reading alone does not establish process dew point unless temperature and psychrometric assumptions are also available.
