CONOTEC CNT-TM100 — dual 4–20 mA and Modbus integration
The manufacturer’s 2023 catalogue identifies the CNT-TM100 as a 24 V DC, 100 mA temperature/humidity transmitter with an SHT-30 measurement element, −20 to +80 °C temperature class, 0–100% RH measurement class and two 4–20 mA outputs for temperature and humidity. It also lists RS485 Modbus RTU (8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit). The published display specification is ±1% of reading ±1 digit; this must not be silently treated as sensor-level RH accuracy.
The CNT-TM100 connects to CONOTEC PID controllers including P400/P500/P600/P700, and can report locally on its two-line LED display. In a BMS, separate the temperature and RH loop scaling and verify Modbus slave address/register units to avoid mixing °C with %RH. The related CNT-TMC100 is a controller with relays, not the same transmitter or supply voltage. Check long cable runs, grounding and the manufacturer installation sheet before applying this in a growing room or refrigeration process. No model-specific ATEX/IECEx approval is asserted.
