RTX-D — touchscreen depends on ordered sensor set

Produal RTX-D adds a touchscreen room user interface to a multi-parameter transmitter platform, but the installed sensing variables and analog/digital interfaces depend on the supplied code. Verify whether a room project actually needs CO₂, RH, temperature, VOC or fan/space-control functions and document each point’s units. A display and touchscreen do not establish simultaneous availability of every sensor or a certified alarm output. Confirm interface, software revision and mounting before upgrading from a simple RTX room transmitter.

Commissioning and application guidance

RTX-D is a user-facing room node and control interface; verify every measured parameter, BACnet/Modbus object or analog channel against the actual full suffix and current firmware. A touchscreen is not evidence that the product always supports a particulate/air-quality gas measurement. For networked buildings, test a lost-BAS connection, reboot behavior and local override arbitration. The OEM’s 2026 materials discuss a BTL-certified BACnet version; do not apply that badge retroactively to earlier Modbus/analog variants.
