PS-DJY-100 — electrolyte-vapour early warning

PS-DJY-100 is positioned as an electrolyte-vapour sensor component for battery energy-storage equipment. Choose the module only after the cell chemistry, relevant off-gas targets, detection limit, cross-sensitivity and electrical interface are confirmed. In an energy-storage enclosure, airflow, fault handling, temperature and downstream fire/gas mitigation logic must be engineered at system level. A pictured OEM module should not be described as an independently certified fire detector or proof of an entire battery system’s safety.

Technical selection pointModel-specific value or caution
Technology and analyteMicro fuel cell detecting the vendor-defined electrolyte-vapour reference target; NOT a general hydrogen leak detector or cell-temperature sensor.
Measuring span0–100 ppm, with manufacturer-stated 200 ppm maximum overload and 1 ppm resolution.
Power4.5–7 V input to the digital OEM module; warm-up under 3 minutes.
Dynamic responseT90 less than 180 seconds and T10 recovery under 240 seconds; these times are not instantaneous battery-thermal-runaway protection.
Environment and lifetime−40…+60°C, 10–90% RH non-condensing, nominal 3-year service life and 4 g weight.

The supplier does not establish that a single 0–100 ppm calibration represents all battery electrolyte solvents and chemical mixtures. Confirm reference gas, cross-sensitivity, ventilation dilution and alarm safety concept for a given battery chemistry. The module is not a complete listed ESS fire-detection system.
