Heimann HTS A Single Thermopile Sensor Series

Heimann Sensor HTS A TO-39 official product family example
Official Heimann Sensor photo: HTS A TO-39; pictured family example, not every exact order variant.

TO-package single-element thermopile detectors for NDIR and infrared temperature sensing.

Original manufacturer: Heimann Sensor.

Technology distinction: An IR emitter, filter or thermopile sensing element alone is not a calibrated complete CO₂ or gas detector. No Ex-proof finished-equipment certification is implied.

Exact chip package, optical filter, field of view and temperature range require the manufacturer’s current part-number datasheet.

HTS A thermopile optical integration

The HTS A single-element detector produces an IR-dependent signal; specify the TO package pinout, spectral filter, amplifier/readout and lens/cell geometry for the ordered device. Temperature drift and optical contamination influence an NDIR analyzer, so a calibrated end instrument needs suitable compensation and field maintenance. The listed HTS A is not by itself a complete CO₂ transmitter, and its photo is a family-level example.

Selection, integration and qualification

Heimann’s passive HTS A detector is a thermoelectric source of a small voltage. It requires separate amplifier/ADC, wavelength filter, emitters and gas calibration to become an NDIR analyzer. A TO-39 housing and stock photograph do not prove that every chip/filter variant is interchangeable.
