Posifa PVC6800 MEMS Composite Vacuum Transmitter

Posifa PVC6100 photograph as a related vacuum gauge; PVC6800 actual device differs
Pictured: Posifa PVC6100, a related vacuum gauge. This is NOT a PVC6800 model photograph; see the linked PVC6800 official datasheet for the correct model appearance.

Pirani-plus-pressure-sensor composite vacuum transmitter with manufacturer range 10⁻³ to 1,125 Torr (about 1.3×10⁻³ to 1,500 mbar). Standard 0–10 V analog output with configurable characteristic; certain options may provide 4–20 mA or digital interfaces. Manufacturer lists operating temperature −40 to +85°C.

Approval/selection: No ATEX/IECEx certification has been established for this model. Manufacturer model codes, connector, fluid compatibility and individual operating parameters must be confirmed from the current datasheet; a model family description is not an order-specific industrial safety approval.

PVC6800 — composite vacuum gauge, expanded upper pressure span

AttributeOriginal Posifa dataSystem consequence
Full model descriptionMEMS Pirani sensor with additional pressure sensing and factory-calibrated analogue controllerUnlike a simple heat-loss gauge, composite element improves higher-pressure accuracy.
Maker’s detailed range0.001 Torr to 1,125 Torr (approximately 0.0013 mbar to 1,500 mbar)Use the product page’s detailed feature range. A general announcement paragraph elsewhere confusingly mentions 10⁻⁴ Torr/ATM.
Signal interfaceAdjustable 0–10 V output curve for emulating existing vacuum gauge controllersExact transfer curve and factory variant have to match the old gauge; do not assume Modbus or current-loop is standard.
Higher-pressure accuracyAdditional pressure element supports improved relative accuracy on higher-pressure endManufacturer highlights accuracy near 1.5 atm to 0.1 atm, but error changes outside that range. Verify the actual OEM pressure-by-pressure specification.
End useFreeze dryers, vacuum chamber sampling, battery-related process vacuum and leak-test systemsDifferent media may require recalibration due to their different thermal conductivity.

Pressure-range, media and product photo controls

The existing AirAlign product figure explicitly shows a PVC6100 model, NOT an actual PVC6800 photograph. Keep that image provenance warning visible and source an exact model photo only after rights review. A 27.5 bar overload number from a component safety sheet must not be represented as normal calibrated operation or a pressure-relief rating.
