FLOW EVO methane — choose ppm and volume-percent versions separately
The smartGAS FLOW EVO methane catalog includes distinct NDIR order codes for 5,000 ppm (F3-042505-05000), 10,000 ppm (F3-042106-05000), 5 vol.% (F3-042506-05000) and further high-volume-percent CH₄ ranges. 1 vol.% is 10,000 ppm numerically, but a calibration optimized for a low-ppm gas analysis is not equivalent to a high-percentage biogas instrument. Always order for the expected span and background gas.
FLOW EVO is an actively sampled process-flow NDIR module; it is not the diffusion-fed BASIC EVO device. Manage sample flow, pressure, condensate, particulate filtering and warm-up for reliable methane interpretation. The manufacturer offers calibration/configuration tooling, including Modbus address and t90 settings. Record the real F3 ordering code and gas-calibration mixture before using the result for process control or comparing it with combustible-gas alarm thresholds.
