Shenzhen ProSense Technologies DS-RF Formaldehyde Detection Module

Original Shenzhen ProSense DS-RF formaldehyde module photo
Manufacturer’s pictured DS-RF formaldehyde module; exact gas chemistry and model match confirmed by model title, certificate still requires order-specific review.

Selective low-power HCHO module for air purifiers and fresh-air ventilation.

Manufacturer / module supplier: Shenzhen ProSense Technologies Co., Ltd., China; this is not Prosense Türkiye.

Original sensor and certification distinction: UL or other component approval, where listed, does not imply ATEX/IECEx for the complete device. Manufacturer subbrands or sourced sensor technology are stated separately when applicable.

DS-RF — purifier air-sampling position

The DS-RF is a low-power formaldehyde detection module for air purifiers and ventilation products. Its measuring element needs representative room air inside the equipment flow path; a sensor positioned directly after a filter or next to a chemical source may not describe the occupied room. Verify the actual sensor principle, warm-up, output interpretation and HCHO calibration from the model-specific sheet. A module photo does not substantiate finished purifier accuracy or an explosion-protection claim.

DS-RF — manufacturer model details

Formaldehyde module with additional VOC/TVOC, temperature and humidity signals. Published HCHO range 0–1 ppm, 5 ppm overload and 0.001 ppm numeric resolution; accuracy ±30 ppb or ±10% of reading, whichever is greater. Supply 4.5–7 V, T90 under 120 seconds, −40…+60°C and nominal 6-year life.

Engineering note: HCHO resolution is not overall accuracy of the complete air monitor; VOC and temperature/humidity channels need their own validation. The DS-RF data must not be replaced with DART WZ-S-K 0–2 ppm parameters.
