ELT T-110 — 5 V/3.3 V ordering and manual calibration — engineering selection and model documentation
The published manufacturer values below are bounded to their orderable range, test conditions and actual interface, not general guarantees about every relative in the same sensor family.
| Parameter | Manufacturer evidence | Engineering boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Detector principle | Pre-calibrated nondispersive infrared (NDIR) CO₂ | Direct concentration, not a VOC baseline index. |
| Hardware family | T-110 versus T-110-3V, designated for 5 V and 3.3 V supply variants | A 3.3 V board should not be powered from the 5 V model’s pin assumptions. |
| Concentration ranges | 400–2k, 5k, 10k, 20k, and 50k ppm selectable factory versions | Range list describes orderable calibration variants, not a single auto-switching 0–50k instrument. |
| Typical published accuracy | ±(50 ppm +3% reading) in ELT original catalogue | Confirm data-sheet conditions on elevated 50k variant before claiming the same error. |
| Board I/O | UART, I²C or analogue model options | Select the actual PCB electrical configuration rather than assuming all outputs are enabled. |
| Mechanical | 19 × 29.3 × 8.5 mm sensor module | Allow optical air exchange and mechanical clearance in compact enclosures. |
| Calibration strategies | ACDL periodic automatic and MCDL manual demand-calibration functions in maker family | Manufacturer algorithms require valid reference levels and appropriate timing. |
System integration and calibration
The T-110 is notably smaller than the ELT S-300 or D-400. For high-CO₂ industrial/cultivation use, periodic automatic baseline calibration may be invalid when the sampled space never drops near outdoor levels; select a documented manual gas calibration plan. An electrical 3.3 V variant and 5 V variant are distinct orderables, not two rail options to randomly apply to the same unit. Confirm UART/I²C versus analog host interface by the manufacturer’s exact pin drawing and record whether selected sensor supports 20k or 50k ppm.
