NAP-505 โ CO cell life and calibrated 1,000-ppm span
Nemoto’s European model page identifies NAP-505 as a three-electrode CO cell with 0โ1,000 ppm measurement range, 2,000 ppm overload, 40 ยฑ 10 nA/ppm sensitivity and T90 under 30 seconds. Its current European literature describes a 7-year warranted service life; the older lifespan value shown in product summaries should not be treated as a universal lifetime guarantee without the relevant dated document.
The CO cell produces a low-level current requiring a stable analog front end, ambient-temperature treatment and end-of-life diagnostics in the finished alarm. Nemoto notes a sensor QR label with calibration information and relevant component UL listing; neither substitutes for validation or approvals of the complete residential detector. Check production region, component revision and installation instructions when transferring designs between NAP-505 and NAP-508.
