Engineering & selection notes
A charge valve provides a controlled refrigerant service access point; it is not a flow-control or expansion valve. Match thread, tool access, copper tube diameter, intended refrigerant and pressure class to the installation. The manufacturer offers multiple threaded head and nozzle dimensions, so photos of one version do not establish all geometry options.
