LEFOO LF727A High-Pressure Diaphragm Switch

LEFOO LF727A is a high-pressure diaphragm switch. Correct selection depends on the actual switching range, process medium, terminal construction and the intended control/safety function.
Model Identification & Specifications
Verified Manufacturer Technical Notes
Manufacturer lists 450 bar maximum working versus 600 bar burst; these are structural limits rather than switching setpoints. Its catalogue states 10^6 mechanical and 10^5 electrical endurance, contact maximum 4A, but wiring enclosure can be IP00, IP65 or IP67 depending on termination. Compared with LF727 standard, select exact working pressure and diaphragm/connector, do not extrapolate the 450 bar rating to brass or all suffixes.
Require the exact pressure-switch setpoint, hysteresis, pressure-direction, connection/diaphragm material, switch contacts and termination ingress grade in the supplier’s current ordering schedule. Family catalog values and proof/burst ratings never establish certification for every variant. Confirm the exact ordered suffix, switching limits and current manufacturer documentation before procurement.
Engineering Selection — AirAlign Analysis
The original maker gives 10⁶ mechanical and 10⁵ electrical endurance cycles, not the same life for any load. Connector type changes ingress grade and the 600 bar burst limit must never be used as a normal operating setting.
For a control loop, choose the actual trip and reset behavior first. A mechanical contact can provide alarm, protection or run/stop control but does not output a continuously calibrated measurement. Check any fail-safe state, wiring to the final load, switching cycle frequency, differential setting and the process connection before replacing a physically similar part.
Installation, Wiring and Media Compatibility
Check normally-open/closed wiring, the contact’s inductive versus resistive load, switching duty and whether the output is a low-current signal or suitable for direct equipment control.
Choose the manufacturer-defined switchpoint and reset hysteresis, and verify the maximum admissible steady-state pressure separately from any short-duration proof or burst figure.
Confirm gas/liquid approval, diaphragm compatibility, port size, connection thread and physical mounting orientation against the exact order code. Some products are intended only for non-hazardous gases.
IP grade and electrical approvals vary with connector and enclosure. Check the actual model suffix and connector or enclosure variant against the applicable manufacturer certificates.

LF727A — high-pressure diaphragm option
LF727A is the high-pressure diaphragm version of LF727, requiring an order-specific diaphragm material, setpoint band and proof-pressure margin. Its installed process port and electrical contact construction should be verified rather than substituted from LF727 drawings. On pulsating pressure systems, test switch repeatability and actual reset differential. A diaphragm option should not be treated as interchangeable with the LF727B plunger at identical loads.
