LEFOO / Mechanical Pressure Switches

LEFOO LF08E Water Purifier Pressure Switch has a manufacturer-defined reset mechanism, process and electrical operating envelope; this profile adds selection precautions rather than simply restating its product catalog.

Engineer the right device and order variant

Use caseWater purifier low/high pressure pump permissive switch, not a continuous pressure sensor
Maker pressure0.05–0.35 MPa; single-setpoint or two-setpoint option
Proof vs burst1.2 MPa proof, 3.2 MPa burst — distinct from 0.35 MPa switch range
ContactsSPST normally closed or open; 250VAC, 3A; 4.8 or 6.3mm terminal
Media and temperatureAir or water; −20…+120°C supplier envelope, verify selected plumbing materials
Installation valueConfirm whether controller expects low-pressure protection or high-pressure pump cutout and correct hysteresis configuration; LF08V vacuum switch is not a substitute.

Independent selection notes

Before ordering, confirm whether the control action is automatic or manual reset, normal circuit state, switch and reset points, minimum differential, proof and burst pressure, contact rating for the actual inductive load, wetted-media compatibility, final cable/connector ingress classification and ambient/medium temperature. None of these parameters should be taken from a different LF08 or LF20 sibling model.

LF08E — purifier pump permissive, not line transmitter

LF08E is used for water-purification pump pressure permission/cutout, a binary switching role rather than 4–20 mA water-pressure measurement. Establish whether the specific wiring expects high-pressure tank-full stop or low-inlet pressure protection. Select pressure tubing and seal materials for the purification process. A pressure switch with an unverified contact assignment can cause short cycling or run-dry conditions in a reverse-osmosis pump system.
