SOMA M1 — mining-grade detection and integration
Manufacturer-verified selection information: SOMA is a fixed mine gas detector family. The model page identifies electrochemical, pellistor and infrared detection technologies, with gas-specific %LEL, ppm or volume scales. The current SOMA series lists a 128 × 64 OLED display, field calibration and replaceable ProCell sensor modules, 4–20 mA, 5–15 Hz and RS485 Modbus RTU output options, and IP65 reinforced-polymer housing. Listed operating ambient is −20 to +60°C and a 12 VDC supply.
Ordering, safety and commissioning caution: The manufacturer describes Ex ia I Ma and ATEX certificate IEP 22 ATEX 1085X; an older PDF uses different certificate identifiers. Treat these as document/revision-specific until the delivered unit’s marking and current certificate annex are matched. Mine M1 intrinsic safety is not a generic surface Zone 1 approval.
