P series — factory certified transmitter family
Manufacturer specification: Prosense P lists pellistor, electrochemical, IR and semiconductor detector options. Standard P electrical supply is 10–32 VDC (24 V nominal), maximum 4 W. 4–20 mA and Modbus RS485 RTU signals are documented, with optional P-3R+ two alarm and one fault relays. Diecast aluminium housing and stainless sensing head are IP65, with an optional IP66 sensor-head upgrade. Manufacturer’s P-series flameproof marking is II 2G Ex db IIC T5/T4 Gb and lists ATEX IMQ 19 ATEX 045 X and IECEx IMQ 18.0009X.
Integration / Ex approval limitation: These are manufacturer family/variant claims, not blanket authorization. Match the actual nameplate, sensor, certificate annex, temperature class and cable glands; distinct P gas suffixes do not share measurement range or response time.
