LPG PE-KAYO gas/impact selection

LPG comprises combustible mixtures, and the assigned catalytic response/calibration must be checked against the intended gas mixture and detector ordering code. The PE-KAYO impact function should be specified with its own monitored fault/trigger handling, independent of the 0–100% LEL gas channel and the analog/digital interface selection. Pressure or impact exposure of the device does not by itself establish gas sensor accuracy after a collision; inspection/service procedures must follow the manufacturer. The marketing series Ex db marking and referenced certificate numbers are not a substitute for matching the supplied P-3012PEK marking, approved accessories and installation instructions.

Archived and current model-name crosswalk

Prosense’s 2020 PE-KAYO specification table explicitly identifies the LPG model code P-3012PEK; the current English PE Kayo catalog lists PE KAYO-3012 for the same gas description. These are source-level naming records, not proof of unrestricted revision or accessory interchangeability.
