MX6 iBrid — six-gas sensor configuration
MX6 iBrid can measure multiple gases with sensor choices that affect actual sensitivity, cross-interference and calibration supplies. Select the configured six channels rather than assuming every potential gas is installed. Pumped samples need line purge and response-lag allowances, especially for distant confined-space checks. Verify sensor replacement and docking compatibility for the actual generation. Any Ex approval attaches to the appropriate assembled instrument and its listed accessory scope.
MX6 iBrid — six simultaneous gases with sampling and PID options
The Industrial Scientific MX6 iBrid supports up to six simultaneous gases using selectable combustible, electrochemical, infrared and PID/VOC detector technologies. The official product literature identifies an internal motorized sample pump and optional benzene-related conversion/accessory paths. ‘Six gas’ is a channel maximum: some fitted technologies use different response, calibration and sample-path requirements and are not interchangeable by software.
For pre-entry sampling, document hose length and line purge/transport delay before interpreting a rapid reading. For VOC/PID tasks, confirm lamp specification, target response factor, humidity/interference considerations and any compatible benzene-specific accessory.
