Engineering & selection notes
Install this refrigerant sight glass at the appropriate liquid line position, commonly downstream of the filter-drier, where it can provide a useful qualitative view of refrigerant flow and moisture-indicator colour. The indication is not a substitute for pressure, subcooling and temperature diagnosis. Confirm the correct connection diameter, pressure rating and service refrigerant before brazing or commissioning.
