Engineering selection — ARUNA HT10
Wall fit and supplied power: ARUNA HT10 lists housing dimensions 85.7mm / 85.7mm / 33.5mm; its compact form should be checked against the actual wall plate and existing wiring route. The thermostat is specified with 3V DC (2 x AAA Alkaline Battery). Do not confuse the wired relay connection with a mains-powered room unit.
Heating input: Its listed normally-open relay load is 2A/30VDC (Resistive Load) 0.5A/125VAC (Resistive Load). Those resistive-load figures do not license direct switching of all boiler voltages or inductive loads. Check the boiler’s thermostat terminals, any low-voltage dry-contact requirement and the wiring diagram before specifying a replacement.
Comfort and cycling: The documented user setpoint span is (5°C) – (30°C) and the operating sensitivity entry is 0.3°C. The stated sensitivity should be interpreted as control behavior, not automatically a ± accuracy band for the measuring element. A similarly named RF or SMART suffix is a different integration configuration and must not inherit this wired unit’s relay or power data.
Selection boundary: The dimensions, supply and controller values above come from the recorded exact-model source; feature availability, contact loading and installation approvals still require current maker documentation for the ordered revision.
ARUNA HT10 — baseline 0.3°C switching
The wired ARUNA HT10 publishes a 0.3°C operating sensitivity and 5–30°C setpoint range on a square 85.7 mm thermostat. This sensitivity is a heat-call switching characteristic, not the maker’s quoted 0.1°C measurement figure. Before changing from MITRA HT10, compare front-panel usability and installation drawings rather than assuming they are identical just because electrical ratings coincide. A standard 3 V battery thermostat uses a wired NO contact, not an RF receiver.
