LEFOO TSH Dual Compressor Oil and Discharge Temperature Controller

LEFOO TSH is a dual compressor oil/discharge temperature protection for compressor oil and discharge sensing bulbs. The distinction between a flow, pressure, temperature, protective or remote-actuator contact matters when selecting replacements.

Original Manufacturer Data

TSH has two distinct sensing bulbs for compressor discharge HIGH temperature and sump OIL temperature, shutting down if either trip is exceeded; this is not TSD’s subtraction of two temperatures. TSH160 low-side 50–110°C with 10–30°C adjustable difference and high-side 80–160°C with ≤15°C; TSH160HM manually resets high side, TSH160LHM manually resets BOTH. Original bulb ceilings low 130°C and high 180°C. Engineer manual reset topology before replacing any compressor protective controller.

Match the original sensor bulb and mounting, ambient/media operating range, automatic/manual reset circuit, inductive load and exact order code. A thermal trip is not identical to a pressure trip. No independently matched OEM model photo or current exact order-code ATEX/IECEx approval is claimed.

AirAlign Engineering & Variant Comparison

Two distinct temperature trips protect compressor oil and discharge independently. Manual reset after an over-temperature event is a safety behavior, not a convenience option. The low and high bulb maximum temperatures differ, so installer routing must be coordinated with the actual thermal zones.

Always identify whether the part measures a continuously variable signal, provides a discrete protective trip or controls an operating cycle. Component substitution should preserve sensing topology, switching hysteresis, reset and energized/deenergized states. Enclosure and cable routing must be assessed within the actual equipment, not only against a standalone catalogue illustration.

Installation and Integration Checks

Wiring and load

Check supply voltage, relay versus transistor wiring, contact NO/NC state and peak inductive duty. Signal outputs are not equivalent to motor-control contacts.

Measurement method

Distinguish temperature difference from independent thermal limits, and paddle/piston/calorimetric flow measurement from pressure differential. Match actual calibration media.

Mounting and operating environment

Mount as specified for the device’s reference sensor or mechanical paddle; verify working medium, housing, ingress protection, maximum process temperature and cable/port fittings.

Safety and certificates

Confirm applicable safety function and approvals for the exact order-code revision. CE/UL/TÜV product claims do not establish ATEX/IECEx protection without matching certificate scope.

TSH — dual compressor temperature protection

TSH is a dual-bulb temperature protection controller for compressor oil and discharge-temperature monitoring. Place the two sensing bulbs on the correct distinct measurement points; one bulk ambient reading cannot represent both lubrication and discharge overheating. The actual protection thresholds, contact logic, reset behavior and manufacturer compressor compatibility must be evaluated together. A capillary switch’s rated contacts and proof requirements are separate from its sensing temperature range.
