Huba Control Type 503 Ceramic OEM Pressure Transmitter

Huba Control type 503 manufacturer product sample
Huba Type 503 original model photograph from a manufacturer product listing on DirectIndustry, pictured connection is one example.

Compact semi-automated-production ceramic pressure transmitter for OEM machine/appliance monitoring of compatible liquids and gases, designed for low hysteresis and economical high-volume integration.

Manufacturer model specifications

Manufacturer current model page pressure range up to 25 bar (older product overview gives broader family ordering spans); response under 5 ms; ceramic Al₂O₃ (96%) wetted measuring element; housing ABS/PA6. Electrical output options 4–20 mA, 0–10 V, and 10–90% ratiometric, dependent on selected supply and connector.

Certification and model-variant restrictions

Manufacturer states the 503 is an OEM component intended for incorporation into EC-compliant finished appliances; final product CE approval remains the integrator’s responsibility. No universal ATEX or IECEx designation is claimed.

Type 503 — OEM pressure electrical and media integration

Model selection parameterManufacturer-specific evidence
Pressure, mechanical response0–25 bar family range on the current product page; response <5 ms. Selected measuring and overload range must match the specific 503 variant.
Fluid and thermal limitCompatible process media/gas; medium temperature +2…+90°C, ambient +10…+60°C. Do not assume that a nominally corrosion-resistant ceramic cell makes all seals suitable for the medium.
Wetted components96% alumina ceramic element, AISI 303 stainless-steel connection, choice of FPM, EPDM or NBR seal depending on application.
Output selection4–20 mA, 0–10 V, or 10–90% ratiometric options; ratiometric supply listed as 5 VDC ±5%. The device is not a multi-output sensor simultaneously providing every interface.
Proof and burstPermissible overload 2× full scale (up to 50 bar), burst pressure 3× full scale (up to 90 bar); neither defines continuous working pressure.
Electrical safetyThe supplier states end-equipment conformity is the OEM integrator’s responsibility. Connector versions have specified reverse-polarity protections, so wire the exact contact layout.

Use a pressure sensor’s electrical response and media rating to evaluate a control loop; short 5 ms element response does not establish response of the complete mechanical tubing and controller. Distinguish 503 from similar pressure transmitter families and preserve suffix-specific approvals.
