Industrial Scientific GasBadge Pro Single-Gas Monitor

Portable single gas monitor supporting oxygen or toxic gas sensing via interchangeable sensors and docking compatibility.

Original manufacturer: Industrial Scientific. Distribution through Prosense does not make this a Prosense-manufactured product.

Hazardous-area certification — verify exact variant

Ex certification must be confirmed from current original manufacturer declaration for the ordered version.

Verify gas sensors, range, alarm limits, battery and accessories from the original manufacturer’s current datasheet before selection.

GasBadge Pro — interchangeable gas selection

GasBadge Pro supports multiple single-gas sensor options and docking workflows, but an oxygen monitor and a CO/H₂S version do not share the same measurement span or alarm calibration. Specify the relevant personal exposure hazard and select calibration/testing accessories for the exact sensor. A docking connection and interchangeable design do not ensure a currently supported replacement cartridge or universal Ex status. The device is not a four-gas confined-space monitor unless a separate suitable model is chosen.

GasBadge Pro — single gas, replaceable sensor and battery

Industrial Scientific specifies GasBadge Pro as a single-gas monitor with interchangeable sensors for oxygen or a variety of toxic gases. The published sensor range list distinguishes CO 0–1,500 ppm, H₂S 0–500 ppm and O₂ 0–30% by volume; none of these ranges applies to every cartridge. Its replaceable 3 V CR2 lithium battery has an OEM-listed 2,600-hour typical run time under stated conditions.

Specify each wearable instrument for the intended substance, with suitable span gas and dock/infrared configuration. Replacing an H₂S cartridge with an O₂ cartridge changes both engineering units and alarm limits and requires setup verification. The manufacturer supports event/configuration management, but local gas alarm functionality, current calibration and the supplied Ex-approved battery/accessory rules remain the controls for actual safety.
