BTN safe-area gas detector — electrical and sensing family
Manufacturer-verified selection information: Prosense BTN detectors are for non-classified areas, using catalytic sensors for LPG/methane/hydrogen and electrochemical or semiconductor sensors for the specified toxic, oxygen or refrigerant variants. The BTN family lists two adjustable alarm relays plus one fault relay, optional BTN-RS Modbus RTU, 10–28 VDC power (24 VDC nominal), up to 3 W, three PG11 entries, IP54 ABS enclosure and approximate 150 × 94.5 × 58 mm size. Response and measurement range depend on gas model.
Ordering, safety and commissioning caution: Do not treat BTN as Ex/ATEX-certified just because it is a gas detector. The older BTN manual and current product site show different temperature/supply and low-current details: select the exact BTN suffix and delivered manual. Connect alarm contacts only within rated load.
