BAPI ZPM — field-selectable pressure, output and zeroing
BAPI’s Zone Pressure Multi-Sensor (ZPM) has 10 field-selectable differential-pressure spans and five output choices, with low-, standard- and high-range hardware options. The physical range class is an ordering choice, while the on-site span and output are field settings. A cleanroom pressure differential and a duct static-pressure measurement require different reference tubing and appropriately sized spans; 10 ranges does not mean a single device measures every pressure class.
The manufacturer documents unpowered configuration, local low/in-range/high LEDs and optional pressure display. After choosing output, range and units, carry out the model-specific auto-zero procedure before accepting BAS values. Connect the high/low ports to the intended reference points, protect tubing against kinks/condensate and record whether the analog controller input is voltage or current. A NIST-traceable certificate can be provided, but it is not an Ex-area approval or proof the installed process is calibrated.
