Measurement Principle

Non-dispersive infrared technology measures selective CO₂ optical absorption. Drift compensation, baseline calibration, interface scaling, physical configuration and model-specific precision are not identical across the Cubic CO₂ portfolio.

AirAlign engineering note: This accuracy statement is a manufacturer measurement under specified conditions. Automatic baseline calibration is not a substitute for verification in constant high-CO₂ environments and may require sufficient fresh-air exposure. The sensor module is not a complete safety detector.

Applications

CO₂ monitoring in OEM HVAC devices, ventilation systems, environmental sensing, agriculture and related manufacturer-specified applications. High concentration or safety-critical use requires the corresponding model and a validated complete instrument.
