XGZF4000 — higher-throughput SLM flow
XGZF4000 spans manufacturer-listed options of approximately 5–500 standard liters per minute, a materially different scale from XGZF3000’s sccm applications. Select the calibrated gas, pressure drop across the sensing path and thermal operating conditions based on the chosen order code. Confirm whether the actual module reads bidirectionally and what electrical format the host uses. A reported mass flow must be interpreted in the maker’s standard reference conditions when comparing with a volumetric flow requirement.
XGZF4000 — SLM-Scale MEMS Mass Flow — engineering specifications
Original CFSensor model documentation differentiates the family’s hardware choices. Ranges and options below are manufacturer declarations, not guaranteed simultaneous performance of every part number.
| Design item | Manufacturer model evidence | Engineering implications |
|---|---|---|
| Technology | MEMS thermal mass flow for industrial gas path | Uses heated-chip heat transfer; gas properties affect indicated reading. |
| Standard volume rating | Catalogue family 5–500 standard liters/minute (SLM) | Not the 100–3,000 SCCM XGZF3000 microflow class. |
| Factory options | Unidirectional or bidirectional variants | Reverse-flow measurement must be explicitly supported by ordered sensor. |
| Output families | Digital and amplified analog choices | Confirm selected SKU serial protocol and calibration curve. |
| Span choice | 5–500 SLM describes different sensor/order families | At the low end, a maximum-scale 500 SLM unit could provide poor useful accuracy. |
| Response behaviour | Manufacturer describes fast thermal flow response | Verify timing under actual gas pressure, moisture and installation. |
| Mechanics | Larger gas passage/flow design than XGZF3000 | Select port geometry, connection leakage and pressure loss by drawing. |
| Reference conditions | Standard temperature/pressure and calibration gas must be specified | Actual process flow differs from SLM as conditions vary. |
Installation and OEM qualification
For pneumatic equipment or controlled gas mixing, identify whether the quoted standard liters/minute corresponds to maker’s reference state and gas composition; do not relabel SLM as real liters/min without correction. Check the installation’s gas path loss, flow direction, power supply and media cleanliness. Industrial gas-flow suitability does not establish Ex/ATEX certification or readiness for oxygen-enriched or combustible atmospheres; those require a separate safety analysis and the exact OEM approval.
