XGZP6897D — low-pressure I²C interface
This digital pressure sensor is listed with a 3.0–5.5 V supply and pressure options up to 200 kPa. Verify whether the ordered element has a differential or gauge reference and whether its ports can withstand the intended common-mode pressure. Before board integration, check I²C pull-up voltage, bus addressing, conversion timing, operating temperature and zero offset. The generic CFSensor product directory is not sufficient evidence of model-specific accuracy or a suitable fluid interface.

XGZP6897D — exact maker differential-pressure hardware and register integration
The XGZP6897D is an SOP8-board-mounted silicon-piezoresistive differential-pressure transducer with two pneumatic ports and an internal ASIC. The maker sells pressure-span and custom-calibration variants; the reference −100 kPa…−0.5 kPa to +0.5…+200 kPa listing describes orderable range options, not a single part’s continuous bidirectional measurement span.
| Current CFSensor primary website | Engineering consequence |
|---|---|
| Supply 3.0–5.5 V DC; calibrated I²C digital output | Use host I²C pullups at a compatible rail, not the analog XGZP6897A wiring; map the exact output transfer function and conversion timing. |
| Two pressure ports, specified differential gas sensing | Pressure is measured between ports and only for air/noncorrosive gases; not interchangeable with absolute barometric or liquid-pressure service. |
| Accuracy ±2.5%, customizable | Manufacturer webpage does not state one universal reference condition. Establish error budget for the ordered span, temperature and production variant. |
| Compensated 0…+60°C, operation −30…+105°C | Operating survival outside compensation band does not establish maintained ±2.5% accuracy. |
| Manufacturer webpage lists 21-bit output | Verify the shipped ASIC data word and datasheet version before implementing mask, sign, CRC or scaling. |
Manufacturer-document conflict — resolve before firmware release
CFSensor’s primary product entry lists 3.0–5.5 V, 21 bits and −30…+105°C, whereas the company’s other branded product page lists 2.5–5.5 V, 24 bits and −30…+120°C. These conflicting web entries are not reconciled by assuming the higher resolution or wider operating limits. Obtain the exact dated drawing/datasheet and shipment suffix from CFSensor before host firmware, BOM qualification or environmental limits are signed off.
Selection note: Differential HVAC filter sensors usually need much lower pressure spans than many kilopascal industrial gauges. Confirm installed operating and overpressure limits separately and do not infer Ex/IECEx approval from the component.
