Engineering and Selection Considerations
Confirm the selected AHU configuration, airflow and pressure, fan arrangement, filter specification, heat recovery selection, heating and cooling coil capacities, casing construction, corrosion exposure, hygiene requirements and BMS integration. Configurable series can differ substantially from project to project; refer to the manufacturer’s project selection output.

eQ Marine — maritime configuration and lifecycle
Model and manufacturer technical selection: FläktGroup identifies eQ Marine as a modular, marine-adapted AHU based on its EN1886-compliant eQ casing. Options include energy-recovery devices, fan-wall or other fan systems, integrated controls on request, and UV-C airstream treatment. The manufacturer describes cruise, ferry, naval, offshore and accommodation applications; those service cases require different material and corrosion selections.
Order-specific engineering and approval boundary: An EN1886 casing performance claim does not mean every marine unit meets each ship classification requirement. Check salt/corrosion resistance, fire/smoke dampers, service corridor and access, condensation, coil capacity, fan redundancy and classification certificate at project submittal. FläktGroup offers serial/order-number documentation for eQ Marine manufactured March 2022 onward on its ServiceLink portal.
