EV200

Energy recovery ventilator in the RenewAire EV product family.

Product and Application

  • Manufacturer: RenewAire
  • Model or named family: EV200
  • Equipment: Energy recovery ventilator in the RenewAire EV product family
  • Application: Outdoor-air ventilation and heat or energy recovery, subject to the selected model and installation

Technical Selection Considerations

Confirm exact model or ordering suffix, manufacturer-supported airflow at operating static pressure, energy recovery mode, filter rating, sound data, controls, climate conditions, duct size, supply power and regional certification. Product-family literature may refer to multiple models or revisions.

EV200 — higher nominal ventilation, different installation

RenewAire EV200 is a larger capacity family member than EV90 and EV130, but the exact delivered continuous supply/extract air at field static pressure must be obtained from its actual performance chart. Duct sizing and acoustics may dominate whether a retrofit can exploit the increased airflow. Confirm filtration pressure losses, balanced ventilation commissioning, energy recovery performance at local climate, electrical draw and service clearances. Avoid translating the product name into a guaranteed installed CFM number.

EV 200 — manufacturer-specific ERV selection

Typical airflow envelope100–200 CFM; actual delivered flow depends on external static pressure and balanced ductwork.
Energy recovery coreOne L-100-G5 static plate sensible/latent recovery core; do not substitute a different EV model’s core.
Standard filtrationOne MERV 8 outdoor and one MERV 8 return filter, each 10 1/2 × 21 3/4 × 1 in.
Dimensions and unit weight33 1/4 × 23 7/8 × 20 in, approximately 68 lb.
Mounting/controlIndoor ERV, multiple mounting orientations, line-cord power and low-voltage control connection, plus cross-core differential-pressure taps for airflow balancing.

RenewAire lists HVI/ETL performance or safety references, but the supplied model, regional label and specific ventilation operating point control compliance. For service, keep access to the core and filters; the maker advises inspecting filters every three months. Actual duct pressure must be measured rather than equating a nameplate airflow number with commissioning performance.
